I’ve lived a nomadic life. In my 6th decade, I quit my daytime job and lived without a permanent residence. I needed a medium that traveled easily. Acrylic paints seemed the obvious choice; they dry quickly and the canvas I paint on is not easily damaged. It is very easy to change directions with this medium and even possible to wipe out a painting and begin all over. Acrylic paints offer a more expansive level of freedom and a more unencumbered wildness of exploration.
